San Mateo heating & cooling

Warm in January. Cool in September.

Repairs, new systems and tune-ups for San Mateo homes, rentals and businesses — with a written quote before any work starts.

How a visit goes

  1. You call or write

Tell us what the system is doing — or not doing — and when someone can let us in.

  2. We book a window

A time window that suits you, or your tenant, or your opening hours.

  3. We find the cause

We test, explain what we found in plain words and show you the part.

  4. You choose

A written price first. Nothing is fixed or replaced until you say yes.

For the house you live in

Most San Mateo homes were built with a furnace and nothing else. Summers are warmer than they used to be, and a heat pump can now do both jobs from one outdoor unit.

  • Furnace and wall-heater repair
  • Heat pumps that heat and cool
  • Ductless for additions, bedrooms and garages
  • Autumn tune-ups before the first cold night

For the place you run

A shop that's too hot by two o'clock, an office where half the staff wear jackets, a kitchen that needs its make-up air. We look after the rooftop and split systems that keep small businesses open.

  • Rooftop package units and split systems
  • Maintenance plans, twice a year
  • Visits before you open or after you close
  • Mixed-use buildings with shops below and flats above

Questions we hear a lot

Do you paint or do colour work?

No. Color is part of our name. We do heating, ventilation and air conditioning only.

Can you add air conditioning to a house with only a furnace?

Usually, yes. A heat pump can replace the furnace and add cooling, or a ductless unit can cool the rooms that need it most.

Do you work for landlords?

Yes. Single-family rentals, duplexes and small buildings. We can book directly with your tenants and send the report and invoice to you.

Do you look after businesses?

Yes. Shops, cafes, offices, salons and clinics, with maintenance plans and visits before opening or after closing.

Will I know the price first?

Yes. We give you a written price before any repair or replacement, and nothing goes ahead until you agree.

Which areas do you cover?

San Mateo, Burlingame, Foster City, Belmont, Hillsborough, Millbrae and San Carlos.
